I am finally working on my on personal army again.  Technically its a 40k army but they will be all 30k units and armor so I wanted to post it here.  They will be 30k models counting as 40k.  I just got a 3d printer so I will be diving into this like never before.  Excited to be back

First Test model.  Dont mind the jump pack, that has already been replaced by a normal pack.  Currently working on 12 zerkers and 5 triarii (greater possessed and possesed) and currently waiting on bits for my Assault marines (warp talons) and destroyers (raptors)

So what is the story with these dudes, are they some break-away faction away from the World Eaters during the Heresy?

These are just good ole world eaters more or less at the siege of Terra so still alot of 30k flair but definitely seeing Khorne influence.  Starting to see more red and more Khorne symbols

Ok I’m back for real this time. After a lot of time and thought out into this I have decided to make a dedicated HH WE army. Not 30k themed HH army for 40k but a true 30k army. With having a 3d printer and the new HH 2.0 coming out I’m committed. When WE come out for 40k then I’ll do both but for now all aboard the the HH train!!

 

With that being said I have been out of the game for a while. Any kind words on how to start a HH WE list would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone pics to come soon

Definitely a good time to be plunging fully into 30k! Obviously things are going to be shifting a bit rules wise, but for World Eaters you can hardly go wrong with some blobs of chain axe wielding loons!

Lol definitely doing that. Is this Like 40k where they have two chain s weapons or is is chain axe and bolt pistol. I know things are all over the place right now but I have no idea where to start lol

I think it's just a straight swap for chainswords.

In v1 and in the latest leaks any World Eater can swap tbeir chainsword for a chainaxe at no cost. I think you're safe to start building despoiler squads (ie bolt pistol and chainaxe), assault squads (jump pack, bolt pistol and chainaxe) or full bore tacticals with all the trimmings (boltgun, bolt pistol and chainaxe). Any of these can serve as your compulsory troops choices.

Thanks folks! Ok I can do despoilers. I remember that name back when I played 6 years ago lol normal marines and chain axes it is!! And I’m assuming marines with shields are a thing? So I might actually be able to use my “Triarii”?

I don't know if the new edition will change things, but up to now there is no option for breachers to take a chainsword. So chainaxe and shield is not (currently) an option. It's been irking me for years. Edited April 17, 2022 by Cactus

When I used to play I was very much a narrative for fun player so I’ll model the triarii with gladiator weapons and then just use them as whatever is legal lol
