Juist wanted to drop a quick message to say 'Hi!' I'm a returning player, used to play like 20 odd years ago when I was a 'Yung 'Un.

 

Having a little dabble at the hobby again now, trying to get motivated and start painting some miniatures.

Ahh a Preston lad or ladette, greetings and welcome. I used to live up that way years back (Southport and Liverpool) is the preston store still the size of a postage stamp?

Well I've decided to start with Necrons - mostly because they have an almost entirely new range (and some cool walkers that look like something out of war of the worlds) and to get them tabletop standard ready is relatively simple plus, they offer an opportunity to go for quite a good paint job with a few simple techniques - I'd like to try to get them looking gritty, dark, weathered.

Yes 'lad' or 'pal' indeed, I'm not actually from Preston but I live here... for now... the store is pretty small, but it moved location a few years back to a slightly bigger premises.
