White Dwarf Non Delivery

To start: yes I know that B&C has nothing to do with Games Workshop. Just looking for community feedback I guess. 

 

Some Reference. I'm in the Bay Area of California in the United States.  I still haven't gotten November or Decembers edition. Do any other Subscribers have this issue of editions just NOT showing up? I see YouTube reviews up, so clearly the magazines have gone to some people. They at least sent an E-mail about Septembers Issue not arriving till  31 October.

The most recent one hasn't arrived for stock at our local Warhammer store yet, so that issue may be delayed in the US. Shipping will probably be delayed a bit after Christmas as well.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve not been affected, being in the uk, but I’ve noticed that white dwarf has had troubles in the last two years. Comparing to older issues there is a marked drop off in quality (obviously a subjective opinion) since the pandemic. There were also some dropped issues and a promise to recompense for those that never materialised (I contacted customer services about that and decided not to pursue it, given the pandemic fallout). I gather distribution problems have been pretty common in the US. I would advise  you to contact GW as in general i would say their customer service is pretty good,

Does WD come from the uk or is it printed locally? If the former, the postal system has been creaking badly under omicron. A good third of my Xmas presents didn’t make it to their recipients on time despite posting them early.

I had the same problem since starting my subcription in July and I have now cancelled my sub. Instead I buy the WD in regularshops.But GW did refund me so thats good.

Have you called GW Customer Service? 

 

Both of the months were delayed arrival to my local Warhammer store (Idaho) so you may be in the same boat. Could be some information is incorrect in your subscription as well.

Second and more on topic: Was there no communication from GW to customers / subscribers about this? Because that's what I'd expect if a company can't provide their services (on time or at all). I'd definitely contact customer service about this - that's what they are for.

For the OCTOBER White Dwarf:

NOVEMBER White Dwarf I recall something similar (it had decals in it again) but I can't find a post on Warhammer Community for it being delayed in the US. I know my local shop got December before they received their November issues.

Been in touch with Customer Service: the reply said "global shipping etc..." Even the LGS never got their copy so I don't think it was JUST a subscription delivery issue. I've been told they're going to resend a copy of November, and I'm going to wait to see what happens to December's issue.
