Valkyrion
I was never a competitive enough player to notice at the time, but is there any edition that didn't have any FAQ/Errata introduced during its lifespan, either through WD, online, chapter approved etc? Like, could I pick a copy of 4th edition up (for example) and a codex from that edition and be good straight out of the box, so to speak? Karhedron
You have to go back to 2nd edition I think. Even in 3rd/4th edition there was the upgrade to give Terminators a 5++ Invulnerable save which they did not have in the original codex. Bung
They tried IT without FaQs in 4th Edition. But that didnt survive Long enough. Noserenda
Even second edition had things like being able to buy combat squads separately in WD, and 1st edition was like 50% white dwarf content :D Honestly i think every edition has had some tweaks via online or White Dwarf.
