Putting together a 1k Templar list in the coming weeks and hoping for some general guidance as to what to avoid etc. I'm facing T'au Battlesuits and Tyranids Crusher Stampede so I know I'm in a for a tough fight. I have the cash to put together pretty much any reasonable 1k force without much issue. Hammernators in spades I am genuinely surprised. TH+SS still viable?! Buffs from litanies take them right over the top. Rarely fails me, even when they are down to two guys they can still be a force to be reckoned with. x7 vanguard vet squad with lightning claws and storm shieldschampion of the feast sergeant with Fist of Balthas and storm shield x2 vets with TH & SS let them have a biker chaplain and jump pack marshal follow them around, and they can punch a hole in the enemy lines. Get even better with stacking buffs! also worth mentioning is some of the mini relics are a lot of fun. I love the Bones of mordread on a firstborn sword brother in a crusader squad. Give him two lightning claws and enjoy the surprise your opponent has when 3 sixes means 6 wounds in total to something!
