I was surprised when they announced this one. One of my favorite models, and I'm assuming its because they will have a new model coming out to replace it at some near future point?

 

The only other one I can think of is the specific Blood Angel one? ... which could still be used by other chapters if you are able to do some fine sanding work.

It's in the Grey Knights Combat Patrol box, so you can get it that way.

Strange choice. I think TDA is one of the better loadouts for Librarians as it greatly improves their resilience (since the PA version is quite squishy) and also provides the ability to come in from Reserves.

There are a lot of Librarian models and chapter specific ones too

Depending on stock/sales levels they might have decided to dump most of the existing ones into the GK combat patrol

Maybe Im too optimistic but to me this seems like GW managing their shelf space and getting ready for some plastic kits for the Heresy, they might come up with new Chaplain/Librarian kits and who knows maybe even a new Indomitus Terminator kit for the heresy.
