Lord Nord in Gravis Armour
So I was looking at the webstore and did a search on Guard and got their front page. I was a little surprised by the color scheme in the banner photo, though. It's not traditional Cadian. But it's also not far off. Is this actually maybe a sign of things to come or is it a scheme that's been around for a while? jaxom
Old, it's different because it was someone's personal army if I recall correctly. It's the one they usually use for large army shots. Lord Nord in Gravis Armour
Ah, okay - I realized after I posted it that I couldn't see any signs of the new sprue so it was more likely an old pic. Oh well. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/373765-new-color-scheme-for-the-guard-or-old-news/#findComment-5812751 Share on other sites
Son of Sacrifice
It's a studio army, painted when the new guard releases dropped in 6th. It was talked about in the weekly White Dwarf at the time. jaxom 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/373765-new-color-scheme-for-the-guard-or-old-news/#findComment-5812773 Share on other sites
Closet Skeleton
Cadians have never had a specific colour scheme. The 'standard' look on the boxes has always just been one of many variants. Various Tans and greens are common but the blue City Fight guys were still just as Cadian.
