The Age of Strife was not limited to just the Milky Way Galaxy of the Warhammer 40k Universe. Countless other Universes were subjected to sudden, brutal shattering of reality by the Immaterium and its denizens. When Fallen Warmaster Horus returned from the Molech Warp Gate he was not alone.

In 15 000 BBY the Great Rift instantly forms in the Star Wars Universe. Countless Warp Rifts, Anomalies and Daemonic Incursions occur resulting in the entirety of the Legends Universe being corrupted by Chaos. Many were killed while others willfully or unwillingly fell to the whispers of the Dark Gods. Countless Mortal and Daemonic Champions of SW were slain by Horus in his journey throughout the Multiverse.

Now, many of the countless Twisted Denizens of Star Wars have traveled to the Milky Way to fight under the banner of Horus. Now feeding off TWO Universes the Daemons are able to manifest much easily in Realspace and in greater numbers than before. Furthermore, those Mortals blessed by the Dark Gods find their already incredible powers bolstered even more.

DAEMONS OF KHORNE: The Incorporeal Followers of the Blood God were the first to act launching many brutal assaults.

-Eager to claim more glory than Doombreed, An'ngrath, Angron or the weakling Ka'Bandha the exiled Skarbrand directly assaults Holy Terra itself leading a Khornate Daemonic Horde right after Horus exits the Molech Portal. Though he and his fellow Neverborn were banished countless defenders were killed and significant damage and Warptaint was done on the various fortifications and defenses

(Due to not commiting the Marines, Silent Sisters, Titans, Mechanicus and Custodes to the battle the Bulk of the Imperial Army and Civilians were Slaughtered)

-An'ngrath leads a massive Horde of Soul Grinders, Possessed Vehicles and Furies to attack Maccragge. Though defeated and sent back to the Warp they have claimed the skulls of over 64k Marines and Millions of Ultramar lives while An'ngrath himself duels and severely wounds Guilliman. The Ultramarines are forced to put their Primarch in statis.

DAEMONS OF TZEENTCH: The New Arrivals waited for the right time to assault the Imperium and deal a crippling blow

-Scouring of Pluto. The Changeling inflitrates and starts a rebellion in Pluto while deliberating issuing/sending false orders at the same time the Alpha Legion invades. Aetaos'rau'keres leads a mighty Tzeentch Daemon Host to attack the Imperials.

-Dorn is forced to send more troops to support Pluto. In the ensuing duel against both Alpharius and the deranged Lord of Change Dorn banishes the powerful Daemon but is burnt alive, stabbed multiple times once in his secondary heart and loses his right hand.

-Though they are forced to retreat the Alpha Legion did not suffer a lot of casualties. Furthermore Alpharius boards and steals. a Battle-barge from the Fists in an act of spite. The Daemons of Tzeentch personally claim the lives of 8.1k Marines, 9 Custodes plus 3 Million Conscripts before they return to the Warp. Defenses of Pluto are ravaged beyond recovery.

DAEMONS OF NURGLE: The Daemons of Decaying Death set up ambush for one of the Loyalist Legions.

-Polgrom of the Fenris System. A Nurgle Daemonic Horde lead by the Emerald Daemon invaded the Fenris system. Russ leads his entire Space Wolves Legion to liberate their homeworlds.

-The Wolves are brutalized in the battle, losing 70% of their numbers. Russ banishes the Emerald Daemon but is 'killed' with his corpse returned to Terra to be under Malcador's care.

DAEMONS OF SLAANESH: A Daemonic Horde lead by Slaanesh's most terrifying Daemonic servant invades Realspace.

-Debauchery of Baal. Shalaxi Helbane and his Daemons assist the Traitors in taking Baal. The Loyalist Marines are slaughtered and the planet transformed into a Daemon World.

DAEMONS UNDIVIDED:

-Slaughter at Morox. Be'lakor leads the Traitors and Daemons in slaughtering Billions of Loyal Imperial Army troops

I gotta be honest, I think "what if the warp existed in/breached into X universe" is a crossover prospect that has FAR more interesting ramifications for the setting you're adding the warp into than it does for your crossed-over WH universe. You can get different Heresy outcomes a million ways already, but the existence of the Dark Gods in SW fundamentally alters the morality and mythmaking that underpins SW as a work of heroic fantasy fiction.

Very few Fictional Universes last more than a decade against Warp/Chaos

The Holonet alone is one major disadvantage for SW Legends as it would be infected by Chaos viruses and Daemons. Through it Chaos can corrupt EVERYONE that uses it. Vast majority of ships and habitated planets instantly corrupted!

The Vong would worship Chaos due to their tribal, warlike and power-hungry nature. Who cares about losing Force Powers when Psyker Powers and Sorcery (the latter isn't exclusive to Psykers) are much better and more versatile

Pirates, poor, sick, old, Dark-side Users, etc. Plenty of SW Legends inhabitants willing to sell their souls to Chaos

It's why more Daemons are getting involved in the Heresy since Chaos/Warp is now feeding off TWO Universes

Star Wars Lost and Damned

-Massive Horde of Chaos worshippers from SW Legends attack Lion, Sanginius, their Legions, Ultramarines and their escorts. Vong, Wookies, Trandoshians, Gammoreans and Humans severely mutated by Chaos throw themselves against the Loyalist.

-At great loss of life they kill Lion and wound Sanginius as well as brutally decimate the Three Loyalist Legions. Sanginius is forced to retreat to Ultramar in order to rebuild his forces.

Second Battle of Baal:

-Khan leads the White Scars into cleansing Baal of Traitors and Daemons. Shalaxi kills Jaghatai and exterminates his Legion. Some of the fallen's geneseed are harvested to make more Marines for the Traitors.

Slaughter at Beta-Garmon:

-With so few Loyalist sent and Horus' Traitors being so vast a quick, one-sided slaughter occurs at Beta-Garmon.

Siege of Terra:

-Traitor Imperial Armada and Dark Mechanicum Fleets overwhelm the Sol System's defenses and ships. Phalanx taken and thrown down towards Palace, damaging and killing most of the defenders.

-Lost and Damned easily take the palace. Horus kills Emperor and becomes a minor Chaos God.
