In honor of Nate Taylor and his legacy building the Heresy community, we’re hosting a special event at Games and Stuff in Glen Burnie, Maryland, on Saturday, May 14th to raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The event, which is $35, will have two narrative driven 2.5 hour games using the duos format where each player brings 1,500 points. The event will have 7 tables with 4 players each for a total of 28 slots, which will be divided evenly between Traitors and Loyalists.

The event’s schedule is as follows:

Check In: 11:30 to 12:15

Game 1: 12:30 to 3:00

Meal Break: 3:00 to 4:00

Game 2: 4:00 to 6:30

Awards and celebrating Nate’s memory: 6:45

The event will adhere to the 30k community’s love of narrative and camaraderie where dice will be thrown, stories will be made, and memories of Nate shared throughout the day. As such, we trust everyone will bring a narrative, fluffy list but will prohibit Lords of War for the event. We will pair everyone up and will share the missions at the event. That said, expect fierce fighting where Traitors will be the attackers aiming to derail a Loyalist mission of the highest priority. If you have any questions or concerns, DM me.

Registration is available here. Currently we have 12 tickets left, so pick up yours to secure your spot.

Ooof ... would've loved to have joined the fun, but three weeks in advance is too brief a period of time for me to plan ahead, get a week off and book a cheap flight to BWI.

But I hope it'll be an awesome event !

Gorgoff: Nate was a good friend to many in the US Heresy community and was a fixture at Adepticon and NOVA, two of the largest (possibly the largest) yearly Heresy events in the US. Edited by Ripper.McGuirl

Who is Nate Taylor?

As Ripper said, Nate was one of the people doing a ton of legwork for the Horus Heresy scene on the East Coast of the United States (and also a semi-frequent flyer at my former FLGS before it closed down)

He's also the maker of the first 28mm scale Ordo Sinister Warlord Titan, Borealis Xanthus, made before the "official" AT design was made (these pictures are from 2017)
