DA Successor - 2000pts Ravenwing/Phobos

Hi all. Going to try and get around to painting up my Outriders and Speeder this weekend. I'm planning on running an all-Primaris DA Successor Chapter (same colour scheme, though!) with a Ravenwing detachment and a 10th Company (Phobos) Patrol.

 

I think it might be quite useful at playing the objectives game, as well as the Ravenwing Secondary. Essentially, the 2nd Company part rushes forward and smacks stuff, whilst the 10th Company holds home/midfield objectives. The Librarian deploys midfield with the Incursors.

There is really no reason to ever run Inheritors of the Primarch - Inheritors is a CP tax (thanks to Honored by the Rock) with no corresponding benefit. Just run them as Dark Angels rules-wise and call them whatever you like for the fluff.

 

Would trade the Haywire Mine for a Helix Gauntlet on your Infiltrators.

 

This list will be good at clearing out light/medium infantry and potentially snagging objectives from units without Obsec, but will have a more difficult time against harder targets. They will also be vulnerable once you take the objective, as Ravenwing are best when they are on the move rather than getting charged at a fixed point.

 

Seems like a nice fluffy list. Will just have to be aware of the weaknesses and play accordingly.
