Timelierentree8
I know with the new data slate you suffer some flat penalties firing indirectly, but is there a ruling on if targets of indirect fire still benefit from other terrain traits between them and the attacker? Tawnis
From the way the ruling is worded: "worsen the Ballistic Skill characteristic of that attack by 1 and add 1 to any armour saving throws made against that attack" it should still stack with any terrain. It is not a -1 to hit, it is a reduction of ballistic skill. Seems like it was intentionally templated this way to stack with terrain. Xenith
They do - as above the new indirect fire rule stacks with other penalties. Remember that the target unit has to be receiving the benefits of cover to...receive the benefits, so must be in the area terrain, or within 3" of the obstacle.
