Secondary Objectives for Inquisition

I will be playing in two tournaments over the course of May, and was wondering, what are good secondary objectives to pick for a pure Inquisition army?

You can't really. You can do multiple Vanguard detachments, with one Inquisitor each and then fill them up with Acolyes, Jokaeto and Daemon Hosts...then stick them all in Rhinos and Landraiders I guess? Not sure why anyone would want to play that in a tournament, but to each their own I guess?

You'd have to take another faction to take the land raiders and rhinos though. Sadly.

We will be playing using the new Warzone Nachmund stuff.

 

As for meta, all armies are played, so the players could conceivably bring anything to the table.

First question to me is, does this tournament permit Legends units/have you checked with the TO that this is permitted?

The other thing you need to check with the TOs is whether they waive the rule of 3 for Acolytes. As they aren't troops, you would otherwise be limited in how many units you can take in a tournament setting.

 

And to make things even more difficult, at 1000p it would be rule of 2 I believe. :-/

I got in touch with the TO to double check about Legends and what about my acolytes.

 

The answers were:

•Legend units are on a case by case basis (so hopefully my land raider will be fine)

•The TO is not sure what to do about the 'rule of 2' with regards to acolytes, as Inquisition only has a few options and none are troops
