lonewolf81
I bought some spellcrow bits and at the back o the box says that the product may contain lead. Do resin bits contain lead? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/374052-quick-question/ Share on other sites
Rune Priest Jbickb
Spellcrow may be the best to ask this question, however as far as I know resin bits should not contain lead. I suspect there is one or 2 reasons for this. Tge first is the packaging may be left over from metal (pewter) bits which may contain traces of lead. The second could be that they are reusing molds that had previously done metal bits (as resin can generally be used in molds made for metal) and they are warning of a small possibility of slight lead contamination. Either way as long as you don't plan on eating it or sanding alot of it without a dust mak I wouldn't stress about it.
