Has Cato Sicarius crossed the Rubicon Primaris?

I hope there is a Primaris Cato Sicarius model soon.....i think the artwork is generic though, rather than Cato specific....he isnt wielding the Sword of Talassar, its just a standard power Gladius, so i dont think its him...its just a generic Victrix Guard.

It’s obvious at that rank they would carry more than just a short sword… so not really a good reason imo .

 

 

Yeah, that's my thinking too. I'd guess the Gladius is an off-hand weapon, similar to the Champion's blade that the Chapter Champion carries. Cato is, after all, an exceptional swordsman.

I'm pretty sure, having watched the stream, that it is Cato. They didn't need to highlight that particular comment in the chat at that moment, and it seems they were more than just hinting.

I would have liked him to be holding his helmet like the last model, but the pose in the cover art is quite cool.

I just wonder where, gameplay wise, he fits in now. He's no longer a Captain, but also not a Chapter Master, so will he be a new Blade Guard HQ?

Possibly he's replacing the Chapter Champion rules, or more likely, the Knight Champion whilst you can still take the Chapter Champion.
