What are your predictions for the weekend release preview?

Expecting to see the lctb stuff in plastic for sure, hoping to see more basic troop types and not neccesarrily in mk 6, I can def see them only wanting to do mk 2 or 3 breachers for instance cause you know breachers are rad but not exactly best sellers, hoping as well to see upgrade kits for legions as well as units a mk 6 seeker upgrade is pretty lore appropriate to any era and how I plan to utilize at least some of the mk 6 from the box set.

I wonder if they would just add a sprue to mk iii for breachers?

Weapons cool, but neither do I like the plastic Sicaran nor the Kratos. Rest looks cool though

A sprue for breachers would be great - it's one of the reasons I still have some untouched and waiting for future needs.

Hmm, I guess I forgot to think about special/heavy weapon sets but hey, them doing sets of 5 is exactly what I was expecting so I am glad.

 

Although, if they do show off the Deimos predator then that'll be cool otherwise my, at best, educated guesses, at worst, shots in the dark have been kinda on the money.

All the leaked stuff seems cool so far. There are minor quibbles I have with some stuff, but overall I will get at least 1 of each tank.

I wasn't expecting them to show off too much more infantry stuff, so that's a nice surprise. If those upgrades are plastic, that's going to be ace. That they did the 5-man sprues for the tactical marines is clearly a good choice for the model kit utility given the upgrades.

 

I personally prefer that to the having a single plasma gun. I just don't care to try to aggregate onesies from the kit to eventually make a tactical support squad. I did it twice, I don't care anymore to do it again.

I wonder how they will do the upgrades; five of each heavy or special weapon is a lot of sprue space, unless they only have a few of them.

I expect them to be in packs of 5-10 of a single weapon.

 

Them doing a box of like "5 of every special" or "5 of every heavy" will leave you with a LOT of potentially unused guns.

Could be they're sprues the size of one of the small SM chapter upgrades, if only five guns per. I wonder if there'll be like two types of guns per sprue through.

As I've posted a few times now, the leaked rulebook contains references to "the Legion Special Weapons Upgrade Set." I would be surprised to see packs of every single different weapon.

I fear you are right. As long as I don’t have to bend ammo feeds, I can live with it.

 

You would have to think that a plastic upgrade sprue would sell more than some of the 40K characters they’ve bothered to do in plastic though, so surely it’s worth doing. Please GW?
