So many awesome new releases! With more coming, apparently! How bad do you all think the damage will be to your wallets?!?!

 

Personally I have not been spending too much this Spring, and am looking forward to getting maybe 2 starter boxes, one of each new tank, and some of the weapon boxes to start my first legion with the new plastics!

I uh... I umm, picked up some bits recently and didn't bother saving for the heresy box.  Main reason being is that I felt it was out of my pocket and needs (have enough marines).  However, the Sicaran and Spartan would be great additions, but I'm wait for price confirmation before deciding to buy the Spartain individually or in the box (which would mean starting a new army).

 

Either way, badly.

Well, from being at the point 2 months ago that I was going to sell my Alphas and bin 30k off completely, I'm not at the point where I'm not considering starting a fresh Legion army, but TWO. Undecided on the main 1 but thinking that due to the way box splits could work and the surplus of MK VI I'll have (I'll keep 1 squad for each just to have them, actually prefer MK III/IV if I'm honest) I can put together a Night Lords force representing the Atramentar, whether that takes the form of a PotL or Terror Assault, who knows atm but hell of a lot of choice out there. Plastic Sicarans and Leviathans will be the literal end of me if we get confirmation of the latter, despite committing to getting the Legion specific ones where available.

Its my birthday in june so I may as well treat myself to celebrate not blowing myself up or getting ran over for another year, may just pick up the starter box and start a Fire Hawks army for rogue trader.

I started saving religiously the moment the first blurry images leaked - I'll score two of the big boxes and I'll still be doing just fine.

 

Same here. Been saving for a year and more at this point, so I've got plenty to get the big box plus accoutrements, and maybe even some of these other later releases as well.

Well I am a responsible Heresy player so of course I will be splitting a box with another player and separating the box down the middle...

 

I will of course get the 40 mark 6, the 10 terminators, the two characters, the dread, and of course the spartan...The dice, templates and red measuring sticks can go to the other person as they hold my new rule book...

Assuming the releases keep coming, maybe the title should be: "How broke are you going to be from June?"

 

I was considering getting one box when it was rumoured to be at the 240gbp mark. As GW announced that it will be noticeably cheaper, and the new minis aren't too out of scale, I'm now eyeing up two boxes. I don't really want that many Mk.VI for my current projects though. I may do some Seekers or Recon elements using the bodies I guess. Or I may just start a Raven Guard force. I'll find a use for the models either way. I'm most excited for the new vehicles though. My current forces are largely infantry, so I'm looking forward to getting something heavier than a Rhino on the table.

Well, I started saving after the first blurry picture. Because of the silence of GW I used the funds to buy a Reaver.

 

Yesterday I took stock ob what I haven't build and realized I have still 60 MKIII still on sprue and some MIV.

 

I will settle for one big box, one Kratos, two Sicarans and a bunch of Rhinos. After that I will have to figure out how my army will be equipped and buy those weapon boxes.

 

Anyone in the market for a kidney? :-D

One box and a box each of the weapons is a definite for day one. Whether I get 2 rhinos and one each of the other tanks at the same time or spread that out, is still up in the air.

 

Will eventually get a 2nd main box as I’ll need bodies for all those special weapons and would like another dread and Spartan (assuming it’s not cheaper to buy those separately).

Once they release a plastic predator I might do an armoured breakthrough list next year with them, Sicaran, and Kratos. Going to work on my backlog for the rest of the year first though and if I get through that I might treat myself after Christmas.

I have a birthday coming up so I'm going to be cheeky and see if I can subtly hint towards getting one. I then will also pick one up myself. I also want the upgrade kits and the sicarian but the kratos is too similar to the sicarian to tempt me

I was telling myself one 10 man squad is all I need and that's all I'm going to get!

 

Now I just don't know man, I want to start like 3 new armies, get a Sicarian - and I've never even wanted one, gotta buy those upgrade sets too... I'm gonna start fortifying my wallet right about now or else I won't recover

The rumours of the big box being £240 meant I'd decided against it, but after Warhammer Fest online and the announcement that it'll be less than £200, i was back on board and seeing the Kratos and the new Rhino hooked me right back in.

 

Thankfully I'd put aside some money for Ash Wastes, but when i saw the price decided not to bother, especially as you could get the nomads and bug riders straight away, so thats at least some dosh towards HH. 

 

Its still going to be an expensive do, I'm going to eBay a few things and I can live off beans on toast for a bit, it'll be fine :biggrin.:

 

I'll just need to hide the receipts from the wife...
