Have the reveals changed which legion you plan to start?

I wanted to do World Eaters but have decided to hold off until I see the full rules and digest them. I already have Dark Angels, Alpha Legion and Death Guard so no rush.

I decided against World Eaters because I am waiting to see how the 40k versions look and how cross compatible they will be.

In my mind the 40k Thousand Sons and Death Guard work just fine for late stage/siege of Terra heresy and I'm hoping World Eaters will be the same.

I'm contemplating Ultramarines just to troll the owner of my FLGS

Amusingly enough, it wasn't trolling my FLGS owner that made me lock in on making the box Ultras. It was my friend's sheer joy upon hearing it. Because I got him Angron as a birthday present for his starting 30k World Eaters, and then my FLGS owner managed to order Lorgar when he was mistakenly up on the GW website.

 

So yeah. Shadow Crusade games are gonna be happening :lol:

My friend and I are doing similar, I play Word Bearers and he started Ultramarines. We've been playing games and have overall had a great time with that.

 

Going to have to do a small WE allied detachment if there's a Shadow Crusade campaign.

More like delayed what I wanted to do. Was expecting more of the weapon packs and the Sicaran out as well at release. I now feel obligated to buy the launch box due to no separate rulebook for the foreseeable future.. Sure, third party but by the time I factor in shipping, taxes and currency conversions going from box splitters I may as well get the box at that point. I'm surprised no one has leaked assembly instructions for the box, I would really like to know about the Spartan, because I want to use it to make my Typhon a hybrid kit and a hybrid spartan kit.
