Ash Waste Nomads

So has anyone bought the ashwaste nomads kit for use as chaos cultists/renegade guard stand ins?? I think the aesthetic fits more in my chaos army than the acutal new cultist models comming out. Wondering if the look good next to the chaos kits we allready have available and if their scale isn't off.

I haven't seen any more of them than you have (as I've only seen the pictures in the GW promotional material), but to me they look like they would be a good fit as cultists and would fit in well with the cultists from the old dark vengeance box set.  If I were to do that, I would remove the wierd backpack tarps (or paint them as flags) as they don't fit the aesthetic for me.

 

The new lines of Necromunda models (so, everything from and since the current Necromunda ruleset) do tend to be taller than 40K models, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are as tall or taller than your marines.

I am planning to build my box either this weekend or next.  If I do, I will get some size comparison between some of my cultist and other models.  Personally I think they and the insect riders make excellent nurgle cultist / renegade guard of nurgle.
