I was going to split a launch box but two people bailed on that idea so I ended up getting the whole thing for myself.

In addition, I got Ahriman, split a special weapons box with a friend, and got some Thousand Sons resin upgrades. I was tempted by getting some Legion dice but then saw the pric they're asking and thought better of it.

Currently saving up to get the Thousand Sons decal sheet and perhaps a couple of additional upgrades. I might get myself a second launch box at some point but that'll be later in the year/early next year and only if it's still around.

Not much here.

The Loyalist Liber, a rulebook from a splitter that I ordered last Friday (so before we knew the rules were on pre-order this week) and just ordered the Special Edition rulebook because I've got 1-9 of the Black Books in hardback and wanted to continue the collection.

I do hope they release campaigns etc with loads of lore and painted up forces and such in the future and they do Special Editions of those too. I must have the pretties!

I went for the big box and the Liber Hereticus, plus the special weapons.

I already have a set of world eater transfers, plus the betrayal at calth and prospero boxes I never got round to building, so that should give me enough power armour infantry (with some leg embiggening swaps) even for World Eaters - some are going to be despoilers/assault squads for sure (magnet on the pack so I can switch). I've got a resin sicaran venator and leviathan somewhere in my shame mountain I originally intended for my 40k Blood Angels, but I think they're getting repurposed! Plus the old monopose and new contemptor should be OK with some cutting and additional weapons, but I can't rule out needing a 3rd with the extra sprue so I can scavenge spare bits to spruce up the other two.

I've *promised* myself I'm not buying any more until I've painted most of that lot.

I might sell some cataphractii (I now have 15!) to get more tartaros, which I think are more useful for WE, Red Butchers are better for cataphractii use. After that, probably tanks? I love the nostalgia of the deimos predator, so hope that does come to plastic, the kratos is mighty tempting, and I really hope both the land speeders go to plastic too, I'd love some mobile tank hunters but they are eyewatering prices for the points. Probably a land raider or two for transport.

With the Mark VI, I'm basically recreating my original rogue trader blood angels, but this time with heretics. So proteus land raiders, flying sofa land speeders, shoulder mounted heavy weapons, round turret predators... Dreads are a bit different than the original furibundus, but I ain't gonna complain too much!

3 box sets

3 boxes of corpse grinder cultists for extra Falax blades (I prefer the look)

2 rolls of jewelers chain

Liber Hereticus

Several bottles of super glue

60ish MkII heads

A new file

A leviathan dreadnought

Blades a plenty for the hobby knife.

And lastly 60ish chain axes.

I got the bundle with the liber book, kratos rhino and 1 of each weapons set, in addition to getting,  2 alpha legion transfers 1 white scars transfer, alpha legion dice,  and space wolves dice alpharius alpharius.

I grabbed two boxes (one in a second preorder batch) plus a Kratos, then put in for the Hereticus Traitors separately.  Unfortunately the stores' shipment of books was damaged so I still don't have it and no ETA when.

Still need an order for both weapon sets and maybe a second Kratos, but I am waiting for them to actually release the Contemptor, Leviathans and other tanks which they've shown.  Thank the heavens I started a new job this month!!

Just the new starter set since the release coincided with Phalanx 2022 and I ended up splurging on scenary and various gribbly beasts for another game I play. That said, between that and what I have so far I think I'll be able to pull off a full 4000 points each now for my Fists, Iron Warriors and Night Lords with a side order of Salamanders and Space Wolves as a shattered legion type force.

I've got the box set, Kratos and a Rhino on back-order at my FLGS, but I did get the heavy weapons, special weapons and Liber Astartes.

I ordered the Imperial Fists transfer sheet and map of the galaxy direct from GW the day the pre-orders opened, and have since got the Cataphractii Illiastus Assault Cannons from Forgeworld, ready for when I get the Core set and start building the Terminators

As well as this, I also ordered 40(!) more Mk6 from that well known auction site - I've got options then so I can run a couple of support squads (I'm magnetising these) and heavy squads if I want. All I plan to get in the near future is another Contemptor and a Leviathan (when they're released), and that'll be my 3k point army.

Sold the Spartan, Cataprachtii, Praetors and most of the MKVI but kept the Contemptor on a whim.

Picked up a Kratos just because I've always fancied the Legions having a MBT and thought it might be a fun project to paint in Death Guard colours.

Picked up the boxset, the Liber Astartes, some White Scars dice. Then sold 30 marines, 5 terminators and the german rulebook and bought the english version.

I also got a load of 6mm epic scale White Scars to have a cool looking miniature army for travelling. That's what the dice are for. The Spartan, Contemptor and the 5 terminators will go to my XIIIth legion I started years ago. And the remaining 10 MKVI marines I just kept to play around with. Not really fond of beakies in general or the differing proportions compared with my Ultramarines. The praetors I might use as Primaris in 40k but certainly not as minis for the heresy, they are waaay to big for that.

Speaking of those praetors: Are the newer legion praetors from FW as large as these two plastic ones?

Everyone is splitting the boxes but keeping the dread which is theonly bit i really want.

I wasn't really considering the game, I mean, marines vs. marines? That's it? Then I watched some online games and I fondly remembered editions past and liked the look of the new rule and the reactions.

My "historical viewpoint" is from me as young boy playing Rogue Trader with the original lead and plastic kits. The amount of "fluff" and huge mountain of books and "history" is overwhelming and awe inspiring. It all feels new to me!

2 x boxes

1 x heavy weapons (missile launder and heavy bolter)

1 x special weapons

1 x Liber Astartes

For Sanguinius!

I just got the Age of Darkness box set, or that was the plan anyway...

I found some great shoulder pads and heads on shapeways, some resin city bases on eBay and some kromlech and spellcrow bits to jazz up my Sons of Horus. I'm scared to do the maths but I think the accessories cost more than the boxset did in the first place!
