Yeah I got lemartese to use him to replace my classic flappy chappy kitbash, but now I can’t use him as him unless I proxy my JAIs a JDC…for now.

maybe I need to get another box of jumpy boys for DC.

I'm not sure why there'd be a size discrepancy? I use Photoshot Xpress and crop to reduce file size well under 1mb, makes upload faster.

what’s the plan for terminator build? What loadout are you thinking?

Played new detachment against BT in gladius.

 

it was a blood bath on both sides but I had several units perform below what they statistically should have.

 

took 5 JAIs+chaplain, 5 terminators, 3 aggressors+captain and 6 SG to bring down a redeemer. My thunderstrike failed to do any damage.

 

SG shredded EC, and and then finished the redeemer, which exploded and damaged his executioner, SG finished the executioner at that point, so they did good.

 

somehow a fight between my HIs and VGVs and his AIs and infernus marines last like 3 turns as well.

Thunderstrike, redeemer, and 2 5 man squads of HIs.

 

my offensive roll were pretty bad, his defensive rolls were decent, and he had a squad that just tore through my redeemer in 1 round of combat. 
 

the difference in how long it took each of us to kill the other’s redeemer feels like what made a big difference in how the game turned out.

 

also still can’t upload pics for some reason

And yet he has a melee bomb that can go through a redeemer no problem.

 

i hit his with a :cuss: ton of chainfists, a mortal bomb of jump chappy and JAIs, a :cuss: ton of powerfists attacks, and incidental chainsword, and CCW attacks.

 

It shouldn’t have taken 3 turns, plus SG.

The 4 SG that survived the redeemer’s explosion had no problem cutting down the redeemer. Even if the explosion didn’t happen she still would have downed it.

A Thunderstrike on it's own wont do much and it's buff is for ranged weapons, of which you have little else that can reliably deal with stat-check armies/units. 

 

Rather than fielding a two-phase list which is ideal for non-LAG Detachments, you have fielded a one-phase list which is un-optimised. You may hit on 3s or 4s, but for the most part you are relying on wounding on 5s or 6s with D2 weapons. Sure there are re-rolls and stratagems to fall back on, but in an ideal scenario and list you stack things in your favour beforehand - i.e. weaken it with enough anti-tank shooting and then charge it with enough to finish without help.

 

Also, it doesn't matter if they rolled hot and went through your LRR like it was armoured in pyjamas instead of ceramite; learn from your experience and win the next game at the list building step.
