Login with e-mail vs username

I know this is probably a petty request, but am I the only one who finds it pretty tiresome to type my whole email to the login prompt every time I visit the site?  And yes, I use private browsing by default so I have to :(

We won't be enabling logging in via display name. It increases the risk of bad actors attempting to login as a member via brute force. Since emails are not visible to other members, it is more difficult for bad actors to login as others in this way. And while the admins' emails are known, there are additional security measures in place to reduce the risk of bad actors logging in via our accounts.
