Sculder
made some mistakes on a few testbases with the cracklepaint from gw, how can i safely remove the paint and keep the bases intact? Bung
Scrap carefully with a Hobby knife. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/374710-how-to-remove-gw-cracklepaint/#findComment-5839075 Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
As above, probably the quickest solution, otherwise you're looking at something like a Simple Green bath / Sonic Cleaning and a toothbrush scrub. Tyriks
I found the GW crackle paints (like the Martian stuff, not the stuff like astrogranite) not to stick very well so scraping with a hobby knife worked well for me, even on bases with a model attached. If it's just a base with nothing else on it then soaking it in simple green or something like it would likely make it easier.
