They use all the plastic Heresy marines, various iterations of the tactical marine kit and so far Space Wolf and Deathwatch veteran pieces too. It’s from a Necromunda Corpse Grinder cultist. Needed a bit of shaved sprue to build up the neck joint, but I think it suits the cobbled-together look of MkV and the Iron 4th (or maybe the Shattered Legions. I’m prevaricating. aa.logan Posted July 27, 2022 Author Share Posted July 27, 2022 Hadn’t considered the Ravenwing arms; got a bunch of them coming from eBay. In the meantime, he’s set up as a despoiler as I pack away my hobby room for the foreseeable (nothing bad, just holiday and then the need to rearrange furniture)… Finished my MkV, been adding some high-ranking retinue officers, again most likely for the IVth, hence the banner icon- my painting plan for that is the ‘metal’ half to be bone, the ‘biological’ half as metal- Iron Within, innit? I’ve built a squad of veterans with skitari heads and old ork bolsters; these are inspired by the Blanche double page spread from the 2nd Ed Chaos Codex and are intended to represent the shrapnel variant. The baseless guy is too fancy I fear for my envisioned army, might do him as one of Fulgrim’s lot for fun.
