I think they are fantstic.

I am thinking bout building a big model/vehicle list with no troops which I have thought about before:) I dont mind mixing models from different manufacturers including GW and Forgeworld.

I have not looked at a codex or a rulebook in a very very long time, any ideas what these buster armour models could be used for ?

I am not looking for anything super competitive, fun is the key word, fun in building and painting, fun in playing when I get to that point. When it comes to playing I really like all or nothing armies based on randomness, one day it is useless the next it is completely unbeatable:)

By looking at them I would say that the Buster Armour models are probably meant to represent Ork Mega Armoured Nobs. Yeah, I think they are pretty nice as well.

I was wondering if a crusade army could be build with these, maybe several untis of these and a Ork Mega Dread ?

Mantic also have decent new plastic space orcs called Marauders. Their design is more generic sci-fi then 40k, but that's never stopped Ork players converting before.

They're also really cheap too in comparison.

Any suggestions on what to buy after the codex has been released ?

I dont want to paint troops, I just know the army will never be finished.

I never got started with the big model/vehicle list with no troops, but it is still something I want to do.
