horridperson
I've had a few Night Lords forces for 40k over the years, but took a break for other game systems and did some non GW stuff. My friends are pretty GW centric so when they decided to adopt HH 2.0 I decided to come along for the ride. I think I have a scheme mostly figured out that shouldn't be too hard to mass produce once I've got everything nailed down. It's mostly airbrush to lay down the principle colours with some oil washes at the end to pick out details. It's still quite early in planning and I haven't determined my story as of yet. The models were great fun to pick at again because they remind me of the first RT marines and those were my first plastic figures. I appreciate the level of detail and the scale that finally makes stock humans look small. I'd like to use the mk vi for the bulk of the force and add in some more customized figures for conversion fun. Hopefully sharing progress and following similar projects here will provide additional motivation. I'm not sure I miss all these rules. Those are some fat books and feel heavy and a bit overwhelming . Thanks! horridperson
Thank you for the replies and checking out my project. The test models are complete. I'm happy with the results and consider them on target. I haven't had a lot of experience using oils with acrylics so I think that as I continue the practice should improve my results.
