Legionaries: No Chainsword and Plasma Pistol?

It seems Legionaries can only replace their Bolter with either a Plasma Pistol or a Chainsword, as both replace the bolter. So a Chainsword/PlaPi Legionary would be impossible. Did I overlook something or did GW mess up here?

 

Edit: A Legionary could have two Pistols though, Cypher style. Thats also nice.

I didn't noticed that - while I'm sure it's not a common option you ought to be able to take it...

It might not be a common choice, but if you're running Khorne or melee Slaanesh legionaries it would (in theory) be the substitute for special weapons without losing melee effectiveness. Also, it is something you can build from the kit, so it should be a legal option in the codex. But here we are.
