Legion Champions & Twin Lightning Claws

I was looking at Specialist Weapon options for the Legion Champion, to get him an extra attack with his Paragon Blade.

Interestingly, in the Legion Champion entry in the Consularis section (p.108 in Liber Hereticus), it says the Champion "gains a paragon blade for no additional points cost." It doesn't replace a weapon, he just...gets it. I'm assuming then that this means a Champion Consul with no other upgrades would have a bolt pistol, chainsword *and* paragon blade.

So I'm envisioning a Champion who's replaced his bolt pistol & chainsword for a pair of lightning claws and also has a paragon blade. At base it gives him an extra attack with the blade going into a 2+ save unit but still gives him plenty of blending potential (6 attacks on the charge & re-rolling to wound!) vs 3+ saves. And yes...I know the powerfist is better, but this does sound like a cool modeling opportunity.

Am I reading this right?

Yes, you are reading it right. He just gets a paragon blade while all your weapon selections for a centurion remains.
