I've been out of the hobby for the past four years, and with the release of the new version of the Horus Heresy, I felt that this was a perfect opportunity to get back into the game. When I was in the hobby, I mostly played Age of Sigmar with a few games of 40K and some games of Kill Team. I was reading a lot, despite not playing the game during my time away I was still collecting the books and delved into reading more, enjoying the Horus Heresy series.
