Blast weapons and reactions?

Yes you can. Barrage weapons can’t be used in reaction fire, and template weapons use the Wall of Death rule, but blasts are not mentioned in the reaction section as an exception.

A couple of people in this thread and elsewhere have confidently stated you can’t, but I think they’re getting confused with the Snap Shot rules, which do not allow Blast weapons to be fired.

Also I believe barrage weapons can fire, as long as its directly and not indirectly.

Although which weapons have barrage and a minimum range that would let you do this I don't know

Yeah, that’s how I’ve interpreted it, the key thing is that you can’t react against a unit you don’t have LoS to, basically, which is fair. Though, as ever, they appear to have taken a fairly inelegant linguistic route to get to where they wanted to go!

Also, barrage weapons ignore their minimum range if they’re firing directly. Last sentence of the second rules paragraph on page 232. So you’re grand!
