Legion icon on 3k Terminators

Hi folks,
I'm sure it was discussed somewhere already but I cannot find it - is there any rule on where to put Legion icon on Cataphractii Terminators? I'm thinking Blood Angels specifically but a general rul would also help if it exists.

Crimson Paladins have it on the right shoulder like 40k Indomitus pattern do. But Legion Praetor in TDA have it on the left....

Other legion specific cataphractii shoulder pads have the legion symbol on the left, but honestly have it wherever you like.

The Legions were far more loose with their iconography than 40k.

If you look at the assault cannon weapon pack at the BA there, the legion symbol is on his knee, and a squad marking is on the left pad

Yeah there arent really heraldry rules in 30k like there are in 40k, the rulebook gets written after the war :D

Theres art with Marines having their Legion Emblem on both shoulders, too, so just do whatever yo.

Wasnt the Legion Symbol in both shoulders not a thing only IF did?

Ultramarine Cataphractii art in the Libre has Legion symbol on both shoulders too. So you are probably right, but also, do what you like too.

I've found Ultramarines and this Deathwing as well.

Not sure about the source though
