I first got into Games Workshop games around 1997, and in 40k , I absolutely fell in love with the world eaters. I've been playing them on and off ever since. A bit over a year ago I had a pretty bad motorcycle accident. I wont bore you with the details, but I nearly died and as a result most of my right shoulder and collarbone are now titanium. For a long time after I have had no where near enough control to paint, convert, or model in general. This was quite disheartening for me, as painting and modeling are my zen. Well a few months ago, I finally felt like I had enough control again, and started in on a Daemon prince conversion to replace one that came up missing years ago. The greenstuff work isn't as good as it used to be, and I've had to find new techniques to hold things stead so I can be precise, but its getting better every day. The red butchers are better still, and I can definitly see where Ive improved. What has not gotten better is my understanding of how this damn DSLR works, so the pics Im afraid, are pretty terrible.

Anyhow, I welcome any comments, criticisms or suggestions.

Yikes! Well, involuntary cybernetic augmentation aside (hope that things continues to improve during your recovery), these are some smashing looking World Eaters. You must be excited for the new Berserkers – but what's next on your painting table?

Gigantic kit bash involving Kytan, defiler, bits and bobs from other models, and a pound or two of greenstuff.

I was going to be working on some custom world eater bikers on choppers, but it appears as though they wont be a part of my army list any more when the codex releases.

In the interest of being as transparent as possible, there is some conversion work on that knight, but the majority of it is from Legio Models. I am no where near that good at sculpting.

Ill post a separate thread on the knight in a bit, its getting some changes first.
