Contekar and Sekhmet

Since chainblades for Contekar and Achaean force weapons are NOT specialist weapons, does this mean that those Terminators receive an extra attack in melee? It seemed…odd to me so i thought I’d post and see what y’all thought.

They would need either another non-specialist melee weapon or a pistol to gain that extra attack, just like with normal power weapons, but yes.

The rules say “often a Melee weapon and/or Pistol” but doesn’t say required (which had been my assumption. So in theory would a Sekhmet with a Contekar with a heavy flamer get the extra attack?

They wouldn't the extra attack in melee is specifically called out in the rules for pistols.
