MichaelCarmine
Hello there! Didn't find anything on this topic, so i thought, i'd just ask you guys. I've been using a Librarian for quite some time now, but i didn't look too much into the Force USR. I just assumed, it doubled the users strength... With the rising number of T5 threads now and on the horizon, i re-read the actual Force rule and i'üm not 100% sure. The Force USR says, that the strength value of the attack is doubled and not the actual strength of the Librarian. So, for example, a Librarian wielding a ForceStaff with +1 strenght, which activates his Force should deal out attacks at strength 10 [(4+1)×2], or strength 12 [(4+2)×2] in case of the ForceMaul, am i right? SkimaskMohawk
Multiple Modifiers says that a combination of rules or wargear can modify characteristics, and then uses the phrase 'double' in the example leading to str 9. MichaelCarmine
I see... bad wording then.... again... Then i'll have to try out the maul. So that would then also apply to the RG WL-trait Bane of Tyrants, am i right? So no Str. 12 Thunder Hammer attacks against enemy Warlords? Since although it clearly states, or implies, that the (base)strength charakteristic of the model adds 2 Str., the 2x-multiplier of the Hammer would take preference over the +2 bonus, making it (at least) str. 10? Thanks! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/376088-force-usr/#findComment-5871442 Share on other sites
