Decanting spray cans is an old trick for using paint normally only available in aerosol form to use by airbrush. I'd always wondered about the mechanics of it, but a YouTube modeller I subscribe to, one Barbatos Rex (a mecha modeller admittedly) gave a very helpful tutorial on how to do it.

I was considering doing this myself with, for example, Citadel's new Corax White spray paint, as I have heard it's astoundingly good as white primers go, and whilst I'm very fond of Mr. Surfacer White 1500, it'd possibly be a bit more efficient (as you get a LOT of paint in a spray can and when decanted for airbrushing it goes much further). However I was wondering, what kind of paint is it and what thinners would I need to use with it? I'm assuming it's not the same lacquer base as, say, Mr. Surfacer, and thus Mr. Thinner would most likely not work.
