As I figure I might get some more sensible replies here than just post to Facebook.

I know Kin are individually tailored clones designed by the Votann, but I was wondering if they are ‘birthed’ as adults or babies?

If the latter are they likely to be cared for in some kind of nursery, or do parents who love each other very much put in a request to the Votann who then creates them a baby from their hold’s bank of cloneskins?

The codex does a great job of describing the Leagues’ desire to go off mining in all sorts of places but I would love to know a bit more about the day to day life of the Kin.

Do we have lore on how the cloning thing works? Do we know that they are grown in vats etc? Or could it be that it's some kind of genetically manipulated embryo that's then implanted in a female kin for gestation?

I assume pregnancy and giving birth are possible as my assumption is that this is how the Necromunda squats do it as I don't think they have a Votann?

Necromunda Squats do have a Votann. It is mentioned in the Book of the Outlands. They may not be cloning themselves though.

For cloning itself, they are grown and not born. There are specialists who are responsible for operating this machinery, although sometimes the Votann will cause a semi-unique cloneskein to be grown without intervention. This was the case with Uthar the Destined - he has some special cloneskein that makes him extra lucky.
