A friendly heads up for those who pre-ordered Void King

I haven't seen this mentioned in the solicits for this book, but it's possible I missed it... but then if I missed it, it's entirely possible others did as well.

 

Anyway, if you're looking forward to reading Void King, be advised that the previous short story by Collins, The Shapers of Scars, is a prequel to this novel. Not something that is going to mean you'll be missing anything from the novel if you haven't read the short, but it does at least give a little bit of additional fleshing out to one of the main characters prior to their appearance in the novel.
