Valkyrion
Is the gaming mat provided a proper cardboard fold out one like the 22x44" 40k ones, or is it more a neoprene fold out one like one of the Necromunda ones? Is said gaming mat 22x44? Is the terrain identical in Shadowvaults as it is in Into the Dark? Will the walls and that fit the Zone Mortalis floor set without any issue? I know ZM wants to use the big walls that cover entire squares, but these look like they might fit the join between squares? Thanks! Lysimachus
I think the description on GW site says cardboard? 30x22 Terrain is the same, but you get the extras like the HB turret (possibly instead of the barricades from Into the Dark?) I think it's all a fractionally different height to the Zone Mortalis/Necromunda walls (which is an odd decision to my mind) but of course if you're only playing on 1 level they should look ok next to each other? Edit: Think I misunderstood the last question, not sure how the thinner walls would interact with the ZM Tiles. As mentioned, I don't think they are designed to interact like the other sets do (again, odd decision), but you might get away with it.
