FormelyKnownAsSmashyPants
Hi all I really don’t know where to put this, but I purchased the Astra Militarum painting guid on iBooks like five years ago, mainly for the Cadian 92nd painting guide contained within. The puzzling thing is it appears to be gone. I checked not only my library but also the store in case I needed to redownload it, it’s gone everywhere. Has anybody else who has purchased this painting guide have the same problem? Am I missing something? The reason I actually purchased the Apple in the first place for this very painting guid, can GW make the guid no longer available even though I’ve paid for it? Axineton
You should email gw and find out what’s going on mate. That’s the only thing I can think of. This is a problem with digital goods of almost any kind in that you aren't actually buying a product, but rather a license to access that product that can be revoked at any time for almost any reason. I suspect it's the same here and if GW pulls the book then you lose access to it, and you'll have agreed to that somewhere along the line in a EULA. In Germany was a court ruling against Amazon. Amazon didnt allow a customer to access his profile and listening to music he purchased and paid. Access got suspended after not paying some bills. Court ruling was that you have to provide access to paid electronic stuff. As said, court ruling for a single country but May differ to tocation and local laws and EULAs. MithrilForge
Call me old fashioned but this is the exact reason why I like to buy hard copies of books and games etc… for instance - “If you like sir I can get you the digital PS5 now ?… no thanks I’ll wait a year for the disc one “ M.
