Kill Rig alternative or kit bash ideas

Hi all,

im not that sold on the aesthetics of the kill rig (I don’t like the sqig) has anyone converted one or use and alternative model? Thanks

A Google-ing has shown a few alternatives, but none of which really looked right to me, so I did a thing. Scale may be a bit off, I'm eye-balling it from a KillRig vs Battlewagon pic and a Battlewagon vs Trukk pic,

Guy at my local GWing was telling me of his coversion what was essentially the same thing but using a taurox as the base for the cab.  Haven't actually seen it though, so can't say much more about it than that.

Here's an overhead shot. I suspect that the designers may have had the idea that Ork players would put the two kits together.

That looks great Casman, basically turning the Trukk into an Articulated Lorry. With the raised platform at the back it'll remind me of this a bit...

I’m a bit late to the party here, but I’ve been working on using the AOS shipwreck, being pulled by the Squig from the kill-rig.  Unfortunately other projects have moved into higher priority at the moment so no finished pictures

Making progress, it all fits on the base and I’m happy with the overall aesthetic.

I am definitely going to have to loot part of your idea for my speed freaks army.

 

I have been trying to figure out the best ride for my Goff Rocker and using him in place of the Wurrboy and slapping on some speakers and drums onto a mekanized Kill Rig might be in order.
