How would you paint these? I bought them to replace them :cuss:ing flight stands :).

Not sure I can really do the flame part all the way down...

 

Maybe a little orange and yellow at the top.

Any tutorials on this method I should look at?

It's basically a fancy name for dry brushing several lightening layers of grey through white, then using Contrast to get much more volume out of the effect. It's been all over Youtube the last month, personally I watched Ninjon's vid.
