Its slowly been dying over the last few years, i vaguely recall the owner called it a little while ago, i suspect it will vanish next time a payment is due to host it.

Last time it went down I think they hadn't paid their domain costs but that was back in 2019.

Is there a way to contact the owner - I really hope we can get backups of some of the posts (esp the weekender reports - who was the author of those, they were excellent)?

I think those were mostly Garro at the time, who now has a fairly active FB presence.

No, they were Pendraig; Garro was another account (unless he ran two accounts, but I remember Garro laying claim to the Garro image from the black books, and using it, whereas I don't think Pendraig had an avatar).

I think you may be right! I am a little bummed that my alpha legion build thread is gone, I actually was referencing it not too long ago. That’s why I love forums, we can go back and check things. 
I guess I should have contributed more to it sticking around.

I visited a few times this year, the owner posted a few months ago that he was considering shutting down due to the lack of traffic.

He ended up doing it, because it did cost him a fair bit of money apparently.

 

They said the Heresy Discord is where a lot of the discussion is now. 

 

Pendraigg is indeed the author of all those excellent reports, not Garro. They might be gone now since the site looks down.

Sad times, but not unexpected. I used to post there all the time and made some good friends through the site, but slowly stopped using it as it became easy to get the heresy fix through Social Media as sharing photos was so much easier.

I've quoted a few of them on here over the years, but it's really sad if so. Does anyone know the owner? They might have a backup that some things could be extracted from by a web wizard?
