Why did Forge World stop printing the 30k legion decals?

Per title. I really wanted the alpha legion sheet but it's out of print, apparently. I can find no explanation for this on the site.

they are on the main GW website now days but they have been having issues with supply chains.

Yeah, on the GW UK site the Alpha Legion transfers are available.

As for why they might be unavailable at times - Transfers / Decals are third-party produced, so there may be issues outside of GW control.

Out of stock online for me, but still a currently produced product.

Had the same issue here in Canada but the gents at the GW store told me to sign up online to be notified when back in stock, I did and about 1 month later I was notified.  This is likely not new news to most of you, but it did work for me.

The FW Decals are printed with metallic paints and there are less than a handfull companies able / willing to print that as it is quite an investment with printers and paints 

I think the company printing FW Decals is in Italy.
