MaliGn
Hi, I'm building a set of the fab new Escher Cutter Jetbikes for Necromunda, now I could just mount them on the clear flying stands, but where's the fun in that? It would clearly be more fun to build up terrain under them to raise them up that way, but how to pull it off without them looking like they should have just crashed? So I'm wondering if anyone has any experience doing similar for other Jetbikes type models. Thinking of some kind of scrap pipes to suit the ash wastes element of these models. Corswain
I struggled with that too. Never found a solution within my skill range so ended up using rubble bases and sticking the clear stems on anyway. They just don't stand out as much. Pipes are a pretty good idea. Maybe some twisted weeds/roots coming through the rubble? Stuff that would break if you hit it. At least with plastic you should be able to get away with a fairly small connection point. Loving the models, by the way. Bung
I would say do the same base style as the rest of your Escher Gang to make them fit visually together. For a very silly project indeed! 41 minutes ago, Bung said: I would say do the same base style as the rest of your Escher Gang to make them fit visually together. The on-foot members are on the pre-moulded Necromunda bases so there's an inherent difference that will be there no matter basing these for ash wastes makes sense, building more Gangers on mat hing bases for a new gang is an even better idea. Love me a massive Necromunda gang. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/376894-jetbike-base-suggestions/#findComment-5892954 Share on other sites
