Hey guys, inspired by threads elsewhere, what art would we say is very much considered classic and iconic for Ultramarines fans?

For me it was always things like this:

Married with the small amount of background on Ancient Galatan, first teased in White Dwarf back in days when there was precious little information on our favourite factions.

Special mention to me on the older style art from John Blanche too:

I always wished art represented the models more but Blanche got 40K.

So what pieces of art do many folks here feel really tells their Ultramarines story?

You guys nailed it from my perspective, too.  It was the John Blanche piece and the cover art for Ultramarines mini-game.

Thanks for remembering them to me.  I'm still considering a 30k UM project dubbed/themed Unlucky XIIIth or a 40k Firstborn one I'll call Ultra Vires (wherein beneath the lustre of Ultramar and its 500 worlds as a model of efficiency, like the Roman Empire, there's a really messy political scene...again like the Roman Empire.)

For me it’s been the codex covers. I particularly like the full cover art for the 9th edition one and the fifth edition (?) one where the chaos marine is getting got at point blank range.

The old battle scenes against necrons also hold a special place for me
