CP farming query

Seeing as we can get command points refunded with a war lord trait and also from the astropath what are the current rules on CP farming?

Depends on the Arks of Omen mission you are running.

 

“Battle-Forged CP bonus: in this mission at the start of each player’s command phase, both players gain 1cp, not just the player whose turn it is. These CP are Battle forged cp bonus, and so the limit of gaining a maximum of 1CP per turn does not apply to Cp gained as a result of this rule.”

 

Any CP gained outside of Battle-Forged CP is limited to 1 CP per battle round.

Does this limit affect also CP's that are 'refunded'? I am thinking about the Warlord Trait 'Grand Strategist'.

Yes you are limited to get 1CP outside of the Battle forged CP bonus.
 

Say you spend two CP, grand strategist kicks in, you roll 2x dice. Both roll a 5+; you will only earn back 1 CP and that’s it for that round.
