Rumour Engine New Terminator Models? Could this mean also new DW terminators?

I'm in a real dilema. I'm hearing heas about the return of the Lion, termis in the 10th Ed Box etc etc. I'm just starting to buy minis to build my new DA army, and i've only bought Green Wing so far, and no i wonder if i need to wait for mt Deathwing units. I want the new mini's if they are coming! 

 

what are the thought sof the group here? Wait or just get on with it? 

 

Do you think DW refresh is likely?

If there's new Terminators in the 10E starter, they'll be generic, not DA-specific sculpts. However, you will be able to paint them as Deathwing of course. So I think if you like the current Deathwing Knights/Deathwing Terminator sculpts, you're probably fine grabbing a box or two, and then you can also look at expanding it with whatever ends up coming out in the 10E box.

 

I don't think I would pick up the current Belial sculpt unless you really like it though, as there's probably a good chance he'll get updated sooner than later, as I think they're going to want to get Finecast sculpts out of the way.

Thanks. Yeah, I didn't think the Terminators in the boxed set would be DW, but just that the new terminators might lead to new DW boxes too

They are Deathwing, it's just it'll be a paintjob and some decals instead of Deathwing-specific iconography sculpted on.

I’m not expecting Deathwing Knights to get refreshed all that soon, usually it takes a bit for Chapter specific variants to get updated when there’s a generic marine range refresh (most recent example being the Black Templar Crusade squad finally being available as a Primaris option)

 

However, I don’t think it’ll be too long to know for sure if you want to hold off on terminators for now and focus on Greenwing/Ravenwing. As others have said, for basic deathwing terminators, all you need is the new sculpts with the right transfers and paint job

I wouldn't be overly excited about GW dropping new Termies.  First Born haven't had a new kit in years and GW is pushing Primaris hard.  If anything, they'll be Deathwing Gravis and/or Bladeguard armored veterans, since BGV armor is the Termie equivalent.  The people talking about new Termies are, themselves, saying it's all just conjecture.  I can't wait to see what he DA sculpts we get, though

Rumors even from @Chapter Master Valrak have stated that there looks to be new Indomitus TDA (not that they will be Primaris Termies, but upscaled. Which kinda goes along with the rumors of getting rid of the distinction between 1stborn and Primaris.)

Also, aren't the MkVI a new firstborn kit? With new weapon upgrade boxes to go along? I mean it's a dual purpose kit as it can be used for 40K & 30K, but most of the HH plastic stuff (and a bit of the Resin, too.) Which would also work with bringing in upscaled plastic Indomitus TDA as then there'd be a new kit for the minis for HH, and still be used for 40K.
