TheWarmaster
Would you rather see official Forge World models for the Luperci? Or would you rather convert them using HH models + Possessed parts? Or possibly even Gal Vorbak painted up as SoH? Also, what kind of stats and rules would you give them to make them fun + distinct enough from the Gal Vorbak? Noserenda
Im not sure they rate specific models exactly, though they would make a great exemplary battles unit, unfortunately theyd be best kitbashed from the possessed unit so i suspect FW tribalism will prevent it :/ Ruleswise the Gal Vorbak are meant to be a better kind of possessed so id look at a reduced version of them, probably lose Chosen warriors and wargear options to represent their more bestial nature. Possibly reduce their leadership too? The rest of their stats seems right for possessed. Id probably combine em with a RoW to add the Corrupted type to SoH units without mega Horus :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/377400-the-luperci-for-fun/#findComment-5905729 Share on other sites
lansalt
Gal Vorbak with the WB stuff removed would be the natural way to do it and still keep the 30k look, but Luperci weren't as strong as those in the book IIRC. Instead of being the elite troops of the WB, Luperci were made with near dead or braindead SoH legionaries as melee shock troops and bodyguards for SoH more in bed with chaos stuff. Their point was to not waste any SoH legionary while they could fight in some way, but they could still be killed with a few bolt rounds unlike the Gal Vorbak. I think Mk4-6 despoilers mixed with the old possesed kit would be a better representation tinpact 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/377400-the-luperci-for-fun/#findComment-5905737 Share on other sites
