Rewriting Guilliman

Now that we have the Lion coming back, and Angron, Mortarion, and Magnus, I'm kind of hoping they'll take a second pass at Guilliman and make sure the Lion follows the same pattern. There should be the basic framework-

 

Primarch of the ___ Legion (Super Chapter Master-ish Aura)

Thematic Defensive ability (Psychic bonus for Magnus, G's armor and reset, etc.)

Thematic Offensive ability (Host of Plagues)

Thematic Force Multiplication Ability (Toxic Presence, Master of Battle, Author of the Codex)

(Maybe) One More Thematic ability that fits them - defensive for Morty, Offensive for the Lion, Force Multiplier for G, etc.

3 Warlord Traits that are most exemplary for their Chapter/Legion.

I'm OK with how he comes back now- especially if they up his stats so he fights closer to the other primarchs.  One of the big ones for me is the Warlord Traits.  They figured out with the Chaos Primarchs that those guys are the source of all the Warlord Traits their chapter/legion has, they embody several.  They'll probably do that with Lion - even more so with Deathwing and Ravenwing traits in addition to chapter traits in the mix.  Its time to bring Bobby G into the 41st Millenium.
