The design isn't consistent with the other Votann axes, so I think it might be Imperial this time around.

 

That said, I'm still going to wildcard guess it's a Cthonian Berzerk HQ just because I can.

id expect the embossed force runes on the blade if that was the case.

i guess for a new sanguinary guard it is not detailed and ornamented enough

Right, like the swords - good point. Probably not a force axe, then.

It has that flowing sort of trim to it, and the hand looks gloved and smaller/human sized, so I think Sisters is the most likely candidate.

Imperium, human hands. Slight adornment, but nothing crazy. Could be just about anything if we allow for things like 'munda

It's a very classic-looking axe design, so maybe a redo of an older model for a store anniversary exclusive?

This one has me stumped.. I'm thinking guard or sisters as well, the pattern isn't consistent with the space marine force axes.

That makes sense.  There are a lot of power armored Elites with leather gloves now.  Could be the same here.

 

The blade decoration even looks similar to some of the BGV Captain and Lt. Decorations on their weapons

wow as soon as i saw this axe i was transported back to the late 90's... that looks so retro GW power weapon 

Ahhh the days of cutting up and pinning and resculpting metal miniatures for "minor" conversions.... i actually don't miss that, it was a pain to do!! 

 

interested to see what it's part of!!
