New art showing/confirming Captain Agemman finally after all this time.

I kinda feel like he's much more youthful looking than I assumed. Anyway, I consider the model GW always labelled as Agemman in the Strike Force Ultra promotional pics to be confirmed as intent after all this time!

And original model:

Cool trivia eh.

And anyone that wants to get the model can still do so since it became the Deathwatch Terminator Captain.

All of the original bits are in there on one sprue, with the Deathwatch-specific stuff on another sprue.

OOh I remember that model. I had that strike force box and it was a really cool thing at the time. Where is this art from?

Here's something funny... I have that model, new in blister, sitting in my "Ultramarine bin of stuff I never painted". I had no idea it was -that- model just with a new sprue attached.

I do love that model.

i do wonder why a twin plasma blaster is left to rot and not being used to bring the fire of the Emperors justice to his enemies.

I always wanted it as a badge of office too. Though it is on the Relic Terminator squad, so maybe it can be some sort of Master-Crafted, safe plasma version?

So that must be the new Primaris tactical dreadnaught armor… drools

Nah he's too small. He's smaller than Calgar and the same size as Tigurius. I expect a Primaris Terminator to be at least the same size if not bigger than Gravis armour.

I think it was one of his “Jokes”

I think it’s because he was always meant to be released as just a new Generic Terminator Captain that was then painted up to represent the new Ultra 1st Captain but he was definitely never sculpted to be Agemman… he’s got no Ultra Symbols etc

Still a cool model though and nice to see an oft looked character get some art

Not necessarily - if Gravis isn't Primaris Terminator Armor then it's possibly the Centurion armor.  Which is bigger than Termies.  Of course not every "replacement" is a direct 1:1 comparison.  I think they tried to replace jump packers with Outriders, and Bikes with Inceptors - only it failed so they're going to need to patch the booboo in the near future.

From a release perspective, there's not a chance in hell Primaris Terminators would be smaller than Gravis armoured troops. No way. Same size perhaps, but not smaller.

And Tigurius is the same size in the pic (slightly closer but also slightly taller so it works out) and that's not gonna be right surely for Primaris Terminators.

The book release will explain though. He could be a Primaris Terminator if the book says.

Tiggy and Agge are about the same height head-to-head and they should be.  The helmet on a Terminator is relatively much lower than the top of the model.  The art is missing/destressing that part - there should be some bulk above and behind Agge's head.  You probably remember painting some sort of an access hatch up there if you weren't covering it up with a Cyclone.  It looks like the bulky top section is mostly there, but the angle is minimizing its appearance, and its shadowed pretty heavily.

Sooooo, that Agemman in the 40K 10th edition trailer?

I hope not, as the result of the battle implies he's dead!

He drops down, we don't see him die, but he's not at the last stand so when Guilliman watches the planet go red and die on his hololithic display, we can presume the last stand didn't receive a heroic intervention?

It would be a shame for Agemman to be dead, but I suspect we'd see a new Sicarius take his place.

Which would be interesting as a development. After all, new Terminators being popular and new narratives, seeing a Terminator Sicarius is the logical progression since he's done everything else lol.

Sigh.  I don't really like the faction specific scenic bases.  Why is Agemman standing on the head of a dead Tyranid during the Deathguard invasion???

He carries it with him.

It will help them develop a plague to kill the tyranids.

It even looks odd when you have a base painted slightly differently to your regular opponent's army too.

Wonder if I green stuff and shave it into a rock...?

The indomitus captain had the option to leave the necron off sat maybe this one will too?
